I was actually searching around for some clips of Aidan doing interviews so I could find some of his speech patterns and words that he used (whispers *for my RPS series) and came across these.
To be perfectly honest, I like poetry, and I like this era of poetry as well as stuff like Poe and even some Shakespeare. There's just something about the language that tweaks my brain and makes it calm. Watching these clips did just that except... as pretty as the words are, seeing Aidan recite them and stare longingly into the camera kind of took the calm away and replaced it with OMFG sensual sexiness.
If you don't know who Aidan is (snorts because DAY-UM why don't you?) - he plays Kili (sexy Durin dwarf) in The Hobbit (and you know I'm still totally crushing on that to the point of writing fanfic again), Mitchell (vampire) from Being Human UK season 1-3, and he's scheduled to play Luke Garroway (werewolf) in The Moral Instruments: City of Bones. He's become very popular since The Hobbit came out and I can honestly say I was a fangirl before that movie (is proud).
Anyhow, I was going to do a post on what I'm working on and life in general but these videos smacked me in the face first thing this morning so that post will have to wait.
Happy Sunday.
And an interview with Aidan on the role (you have to see the end - priceless)
(and yeah, I could just listen and watch him talk all day)
