I like to thank people for simple things like doing their jobs. When they ask how I am (polite opening to then attend to business) I make the point of asking how they are and actually listen to their response. I ask of elderly, pregnant women, overloaded people etc if they need assistance, even if most don't want it. But with a smile and offer, they usually leave with a smile. Oh - and I smile. It is amazing how a simple smile can brighten someone's day.Jenny Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01443995441274645752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7428156000848968113.post-91308750619012288502015-12-09T10:53:49.474-08:002015-12-09T10:53:49.474-08:00Thank you for the heartfelt post. It is often the small things we do each day that are felt the most. A text, call, or card to someone who is sick, hurt, or lonely can go a long way. I try to pay it forward when people are nice or helpful to me. I love the idea of paying for the next person's coffee in line at a drive through. Little things can make people smile even on a bad day. Happy Holidays!
